Let me introduce myself...
My name is Drew Hogg and the chef in Chef Morzine.
It's been a long time in the pipeline but after 15 years of cooking for and learning from other businesses, I decided it was time to start my own private chef business.
I trained at Butler's Wharf Chef School in London, before grafting in fine dining Italian restaurants, French Bistrots and Gastropubs across the capital.
Having filled my lungs with enough polluted city air, I set off to ply my trade in the Alps and have barely stopped since. I've worked high-end chalets in the Italian, Austrian and French Alps, spent time teaching others how to do it at Orchards Cookery School and crewed luxury yachts roaming the Mediterranean ports.
These experiences and travels through Europe, Asia and Mexico have given me an unquenchable thirst to keep learning from the expanse of cuisines we have.
However, I have been striving for a place to settle and have found it in Morzine and the Portes du Soleil. Arriving here in 2014 I found a welcoming community and a location where each season provides its own unique gift. Hopefully you will become equally as fond of it. In the meantime I look forward to being part of your stay here and providing you with high quality food, drink and service.
